Kubota establishes European distribution center in Weert

Construction equipment manufacturer Kubota wants to move its European Distribution Center (EDC) to Weert. The distribution center will be 62,000 square meters and will serve as the hub for the Japanese company's activities on the European continent.

The move to the new location must be completed within one year. Kubota has outsourced the warehousing to logistics service provider Broekman Logistics. Both have been working together for some time and this will be continued in the new DC that is being built at the Kampershoek 2.0 logistics business park in Weert.

Expansion of staff

Kubota is investing significantly in the new distribution center. This involves not only state-of-the-art facilities, but also an investment in human resources, with plans to expand the operations and management team.

Customer satisfaction

According to Mikio Taguchi, President Baumaschinen GmbH and Executive Vice President Business Unit CE Europe at Kubota Holdings Europe, the move to a brand new distribution center in the Netherlands is a “huge step forward for Kubota”. "This expansion represents a significant and investment in the operation of our business and will not only further help extend dealers, distributors and ultimately final application customer satisfaction."
