JD International Logistics Technology Goes to Sea, European High-end Underwear Brand CEO Visits JD Holland Warehouse

With the opening of JD’s 11.11 global love season, JD International’s overseas expansion has continued to blossom. Recently, JD’s Dutch automated warehouse welcomed VIP guests: CEO of Hunkemöller, a famous European high-end underwear brand with a century of history Mr. Philip Mountford and corporate executives visited JD Holland Warehouse and inspected the logistics services provided by JD.com for its brand in the past few months.

The automated warehouse opened in the Netherlands in August this year is JD’s third automated warehouse in Europe, and the other two are located in Germany and Poland. In addition to automated warehouses, JD.com also uses local coordinated warehouses to build a local warehouse network that serves the local market and cross-border trade, and further expands the global e-commerce new infrastructure layout.

Warehouse distribution efficiency increased by more than three times

During the visit, Mr. Mumford personally operated the Land Wolf Carrying Robot (AGV) independently developed by JD.com and experienced the intelligent logistics experience of man-machine collaboration. He said that Jingdong's technology and speed are amazing, and the efficient operation of the automated warehouse has helped the brand's order production time to increase by more than three times. Xiangcomo Mule will continue to deepen its cooperation with Jingdong in the integrated supply chain of the European market.

JD Holland Warehouse is located in the Venlo area of Limburg Province in the southeast of the Netherlands. It covers an area of 12,000 square meters. It is adjacent to Germany to the east and Belgium to the south. It has the advantages of location synergy with the existing warehouses of JD Germany and Poland. At present, the Dutch warehouse is responsible for the warehousing tasks of Xiangcome Muller's orders in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Luxembourg, accounting for about 1/3 of its total online shopping parcels in Europe.
