Clipper Logistics rents new hall in Venray, but the employment will not be extended further

The company already rented a 16,000 square meter warehouse this spring. According to a Clipper press release at the time, this space would provide employment for six hundred people.

According to Clipper spokeswoman Resham Kirpalaney, the expansion of the floor space makes it possible to store larger stocks and handle larger volumes of goods. At the same time, Clipper wants to further automate the logistics in the halls.

The company, headquartered in Leeds, has 55 offices in Europe and employs more than 10,000 people. The warehouses in Venray are Clipper's only warehouses in the Netherlands.

The company provides logistics services in Venray to the British Farfetch, a virtual marketplace for luxury fashion items, with customers in 190 countries. Kirpalaney indicates that other customers will also purchase services from Clipper, "while we continue to grow and invest in our Dutch office."
