BF Global builds a new distribution center in Venlo

BF Global: Total logistics concept

Logistics service provider BF Global Warehouse will build a new distribution center of approximately 38,000 square meters in Venlo. The new building will be built on a reconstruction site that was once a foundry. BF Global Warehouse has signed a long-term agreement with logistics real estate developer Next Level Development to build a new distribution center in the southern part of the Venlo trading port. BF Global Group was established in Tilburg in 2013. In addition to the aforementioned warehousing branch, it also includes the global logistics and freight department. Logistics service providers provide customers with the overall concept of air and sea transportation, road transportation, warehousing and distribution. The company has offices in various cities in the Netherlands, Ramsdenkswil, Wadingkswen, Venlo and Enschede. The building is mainly used to promote the development of BF Global Group's internal warehousing and e-commerce activities. This project has already started and is under construction.

Future-proof brownfield

This project re-uses and develops an industrial land of 62,000 square meters. The secondary development of the site takes into account future development needs to achieve the growth ambitions of BF Global Warehouse (part of BF Global Group). The logistics service provider hopes to start using the distribution center in April next year. Special consideration is given to the improvement of the comfort and happiness of warehouse workers in the design. This should contribute to more efficient and sustainable business operations.
